In my independent research and development within a materials studies context, I explored the intricate relationship between form, function, and materials, fueled by a commitment to sustainability. Over a dedicated month and a half, I successfully developed a flax-based bio-plastic, serving as the fundamental material for Bio Dog toys. Through collaboration with material science experts, I refined a formula that not only met dog-friendly criteria but also seamlessly aligned with our commitment to environmental responsibility. This innovative bio-plastic, offering both durability and biodegradability, played a pivotal role in shaping the form and function of the toys. This independently-driven material development process propelled the evolution of the Bio Dog toys, highlighting the intersection of innovation, functionality, and environmental consciousness. The result is a product that enriches pets' lives while exemplifying a dedication to responsible design for a greener future.
